Shane McConnell is Australia's answer to Christian Dior. With an artist's eye for balance and structure, he creates gowns that reflect the personality of the wearer, moving with her to create a special aura. After 20 years as a fashion designer, McConnell understand's and appreciate the intricacy of the female form, better than anyone. While Shane might be compared to Dior for classic cuts, and Versace for fine detail, McConnell comes into his own by designing gowns that embody a woman's true spirit. Inspiration may come from a smile, the curve of a waist, or the colour or texture of a woman's hair. McConnell studies the individual to produce an original. Having travelled the world, and lived in London, Paris and Milan, this designer has a global appreciation for fashion. He also has the true understanding about what Couture really is.
