Located on Fitzroy Street in St Kilda, Luxembourg Bar and Bistro is the newest addition to Melbourne dining. Named after the Jardin du Luxembourg in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, Luxembourg is a European bar and bistro, combining classic fare with head chef Chris Watson's contemporary experience. In partnership with restaurateur Andrew McConnell, the former Golden Fields site has been transformed to create a sophisticated space comfortable for a relaxed lunch, le cinq a sept with friends or an evening spent sharing dishes from the full a la carte menu. Luxembourg's carefully crafted wine list showcases an extensive range of low intervention wines with a focus on smaller producers, yet still maintains more familiar options for those partial to a more classic pairing.
