The cuisine reflects simple and traditional flavours, recalling the Mediterranean cultures from which the dishes are derived, yet with a few twists inspired by seasonal variety. Since its opening in 2011, the restaurant has gained a loyal following from regulars who enjoy our creative, ever-changing menu and interesting wine list of locally grown and Italian food-friendly varietals.
Steven is passionate about sharing his love of Italian food. Having lived in Australia, Malaysia and Europe, his culinary experience is broad and his dishes have been inspired by his travels through Italy, Spain, Portugal, France and England.
Steven has worked in a number of renowned restaurants including the George Street Bistro (Fremantle), the Grand Hotel Dining Room (Richmond), Alevansi (Toorak) and the Il Pagliaccio (Rome).
