Northern Territory
The Northern Territory has one of Australia's great icons, Ayres Rock (Uluru). There is great contrast between the arid, red desert area of the inland and the wet tropics of the north, including the state's capital, Darwin. The Northern Territory has many natural attractions to explore including Kakadu, a World Heritage listed National Park, Katherine Gorge and Kings Canyon.
